Town of Fort Myers Beach places 2 employees on leave amid independent review of admin practices

The Town of Fort Myers Beach has announced it has placed two employees on administrative leave while undergoing an independent review. According to the town, an independent review of procurement and administrative practices related to certain grants and contracts was initiated. As a result, the town placed two employees on administrative leave as a precautionary step to protect the integrity of the review. The town said it takes the stewardship of public funds seriously and will share updates as the review progresses.
