Back-to-school season is here, and between morning rushes, packing lunches, and after-school sports, keeping kids fueled with healthy food can feel like a full-time job. Registered dietitian and mom of three Gisela Bouvier joined Gulf Coast News Thursday to share ways to simplify the back-to-school routine without sacrificing nutrition or flavor. Bouvier demonstrated how to use shortcuts from Duda Farm Fresh's Dandy produce to make meal preparation easier and healthier. She says that feeding kids snacks after school doesn't need to be complicated. One recipe she showed off was ants on a log using Dandy Celery. Bouvier says to combine it with whole-grain crackers, fruit, and other healthy foods for variety. To learn more about Duda Farm Fresh's Dandy produce, check out its website.
