Motorcyclist accused of driving 128 mph in Lehigh Acres

A 22-year-old motorcyclist was arrested after being accused of driving 128 mph in Lehigh Acres. The incident happened around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday near State Road 82 and 40th Street Southwest. Darian John Norling was arrested, and his motorcycle was towed. Norling faces four charges, including reckless driving, operating a motorcycle without a license, failure to register a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle more than 50 mph over the speed limit. Norling was booked into the Lee County jail at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday.
