Fort Myers man wanted on aggravated battery, child abuse charges after skipping court

A Fort Myers man is wanted after he failed to show up for his next court date following an arrest on multiple violent charges, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers. Juan Zambrano is wanted for aggravated battery and aggravated child abuse. Deputies say Zambrano had been drinking when he entered his roommates’ room and began trying to start a fight. When they tried to ignore him, Zambrano allegedly grabbed one of them by the neck and began punching them. He then allegedly broke a beer bottle and struck an adult and a teenager, causing several substantial injuries. Deputies arrested Zambrano, and he spent several days in the Lee County Jail on multiple violent charges. He was later released pending his next court date but failed to appear. Zambrano is 30 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs approximately 105 pounds. Upon his arrest, he will not be afforded the immediate opportunity to post bond.
