A Fort Myers man was arrested on Sunday after being accused of trafficking fentanyl and being found in possession of other drugs. According to the Fort Myers Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop on a white SUV on Palm Beach Boulevard. The driver was identified as Hilario Miguel Jose, 33, and was found to have a revoked driver's license. Officers then searched the SUV and located multiple bags containing suspected fentanyl, a larger bag also containing fentanyl, suspected marijuana, six THC vapes, a digital scale, multiple small plastic bags, and $663 in cash, FMPD said. Jose was arrested and faces charges of knowingly operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver's license, trafficking fentanyl, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
