FORT MYERS, Fla. (WINK) — Florida's primary election is Tuesday, and voters heading to the polls in person need to know what to bring and where to go.
The first step is confirming your polling location. On Election Day, you must vote at the location assigned to your precinct, which can be found on your voter information card or through your county supervisor of elections website.

Voters can also check their registration, party affiliation and sample ballot online. Florida requires a current, valid photo ID with a signature to vote.
For most people, that's a driver's license or state ID, but passports and military IDs are also accepted. Your voter information card does not count as ID, and you don't have to bring it with you.
If you forget your ID, you can vote using a provisional ballot, which election officials verify before it's counted. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
If you're in line by 7 p.m., you can still vote. Because this is a primary, remember Florida is a closed primary state.
That means you vote in the primary for the party you're registered with. However, all voters can vote in any nonpartisan races on their ballot, like for school board or judges.
If you still have a vote-by-mail ballot at home, don't put it in the mail on Tuesday. It has to be received by your supervisor of elections by 7 p.m. Tuesday.
