COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — Authorities raided two suspected illegal gambling locations in Collier County, seizing gaming machines in a coordinated operation.
State gaming enforcement and local law enforcement targeted Winners and the Majestic Lounge along Tamiami Trail and Wiggins Pass Road. Crews spent hours rolling machines out of both businesses and loading them onto three trucks.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office assisted the Florida Gaming Control Commission, which led the operation. A gaming enforcement officer confirmed Winners and Majestic Lounge were the only two locations raided.
Keith Daubmann, who owns a store next door to one of the locations, described ongoing issues in the area.

"Every morning, I spend about 15 minutes with a blower blowing all the cigarette butts and beer cans that have been left in front of our plaza here at night, and some other things that have been left behind that aren't typical of our clientele that comes in in the home improvement space," Daubmann said.
People approached the businesses even as law enforcement remained on scene with flashing lights outside Majestic Lounge. The operation continued for several hours as crews cleared out the gaming equipment.
Authorities have not yet released information about what was seized or whether anyone will face charges.
