Water main break closes Santa Barbara Blvd lanes in Cape Coral

CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WINK)—A water main break is causing road closures at the intersection of Santa Barbara Boulevard and Southwest Eighth Street.

The Cape Coral Police Department reported the break is impacting the southbound lanes of Santa Barbara Boulevard. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes.

Repairs are currently underway. The police department has not provided an estimated time for when the roadway will reopen.
