FDOT to begin Sanibel Causeway repairs

SANIBEL, Fla. (WINK) — Lee County Department of Transportation will begin bridge deck repairs on Span B of the Sanibel Causeway Bridge starting Monday.

The Lee County Department of Transportation said crews will work on the westbound lane of the Sanibel Island bridge.

The repairs are scheduled to run through Aug. 27, weather permitting.

A lane shift will be in place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the repair work.
