Tap to Pay comes to select Walmart, Sam's Club locations on Monday, nationwide by end of 2026

Walmart has announced that Tap to Pay will be introduced to select Walmart and Sam's Club stores across the U.S. In a news release, the company said that the rollout will begin on Monday. A nationwide implementation across all Walmart and Sam's Club locations is set to be completed by the end of the year. The company said that this rollout gives customers another way to pay at checkout using contactless payment options. Shoppers will also be able to add their Walmart, Sam's Club and OnePay cards to their digital wallets. Tap to Pay is also planned to come to all fuel stations by mid-2027.
