Cape Coral man accused of having sex with victim under the age of 18

A Cape Coral man was arrested on Aug. 20 after being accused of engaging in sexual activity with a girl younger than 18 years old. According to the Cape Coral Police Department, officers responded to a home on Northeast Juanita Place in reference to a missing girl potentially being at the location. When officers arrived at the location, they met with the victim and Robert Allison III, 29, CCPD said. Officers spoke to Allison, who confirmed that he had sex with the victim, but claimed he believed she was 19 years old. Officers then spoke with the victim, who confirmed that she and Allison had multiple sexual encounters, CCPD said. Evidence was collected from the home, and Allison was placed under arrest. Allison faces a charge of lewd or lascivious battery on a victim aged 12 to 16.
