A former Lee County teacher who was investigated for comments made about Charlie Kirk's death can no longer teach in Florida. According to the Florida Education Practices Commission, Sarah Seado's educator's certificate was permanently revoked on April 14 after she voluntarily surrendered it. Seado taught at Gateway High School. According to the School District of Lee County, she spent an entire class period talking about her viewpoint on Kirk's assassination. She then resigned from her position. Documents from the school district stated that Seado posted: "I'm so sorry but... to put it lightly. This did not sadden me in any way shape or form if you know what I mean. (smirking emoji)" Seado was one of three teachers named by the school district as under investigation on Oct. 17.
