Flames engulf van, shutting down Bonita Beach Road on-ramp to southbound I-75

A van went up in flames, forcing officials to shut down the Bonita Beach Road on-ramp to southbound I-75 on Thursday. Florida Highway Patrol troopers and Bonita Springs fire crews were called to the scene at approximately 12:18 p.m. According to the Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District, no one was injured, but the on-ramp was closed due to the van fire.
