PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (WINK) — Looking for a new place to shop local? Homestead.Market in Port Charlotte is packed with homemade goodies and unique finds from over 20 different local vendors.

The indoor market brings together local vendors and small businesses, giving shoppers the chance to browse everything from fresh-baked sourdough and farm eggs to local honey, herbal teas, chocolates, handmade soaps and candles.

There is also plenty for shoppers with dietary preferences, including gluten-free baked goods and other specialty foods like 'Sprinkle Me Gluten Free.' 

With different makers and vendors under one roof, the selection has a little bit of something for everyone. Vendors at Homestead.Market include 'Field With Love, Bear Bakes LLC, The Little Bakery, Coconato Bakery' and many more.

What makes Homestead.Market stand out is the people behind the products. Many of the items come from local homesteaders, bakers, cottage food producers and makers who are turning their hobbies and passions into small businesses. They're all made by hand with love.

Homestead.Market is located at 3057 S. Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
