Chick-fil-A location off Alico Rd in Lee County closes Friday as it prepares for move to new spot

The Chick-fil-A location off Alico Road on Interstate Commerce Drive in Lee County will close Friday after 17 years in business. According to an Instagram post from the restaurant, Friday, August 28, will be the last day the business will be in operation as it prepares for a move to a new location on Alico Road, this time on the west side of I-75. The new location will be further down Alico Road, near Three Oaks Parkway. "Thank you for allowing us to serve you and this incredible community for more than 17 years," the post said. "We are truly grateful for your continued support and look forward to welcoming you to our new Chick-fil-A very soon!"
