COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — A 39-year-old man is heading to prison after pleading no contest to dozens of charges tied to child sex abuse material.
Justin Donald Dougall of Naples pleaded no contest to 71 charges related to the possession and transmission of child sex abuse material and one count of possessing bestiality material, according to the Collier County Sheriff's Office.
He was found guilty and sentenced to prison, followed by five years of probation.
Collier County Sheriff's Office detectives arrested Dougall on June 18, 2024, after an investigation found he had child sex abuse material in his possession.
"This sentence holds the defendant accountable and reflects our commitment to protecting children and bringing those who exploit them to justice," said Sheriff Kevin Rambosk.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force teamed up with CCSO detectives and the Southwest Florida INTERCEPT Task Force to carry out the investigation.
INTERCEPT, which stands for Inter-agency Child Exploitation and Persons Trafficking, is a public-private partnership focused on fighting trafficking and exploitation across Southwest Florida.
