SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — Scattered storms are in the forecast later in the afternoon and evening this weekend.
Saturday morning will feature only a few clouds, with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. While a stray shower is possible in the morning, most of the rain will arrive later in the day. Afternoon high temperatures will reach the lower to mid 90s. Scattered storms with 60% rain coverage are most likely later in the afternoon through the evening hours.
Sunday will bring a very similar setup, with 70% rain coverage, primarily later in the day. Afternoon temperatures will still reach the lower 90s. This pattern continues with 60% rain coverage to start the workweek next week.
Dolly is no longer a tropical storm. The remnants of Dolly will bring rain to the eastern Caribbean. We will monitor that surge of moisture as it moves westward later next week.
