A Lehigh Acres man is wanted after being accused of violating the terms of his probation by refusing a drug test, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers says that John Monforto, 27, was initially arrested during a traffic stop, where deputies say they noticed a syringe in the car. Monforto reportedly told them it was for insulin. Deputies say they found traces of fentanyl in the rig. Detectives also reportedly found a baggie of methamphetamine in the car. Monforto was arrested and spent three months in jail. Monforto was released on probation, where Crime Stoppers says he refused to take a drug test and did not attend any Narcotics Anonymous meetings, both of which were mandated as terms of his release. Monforto is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds and has a tattoo of a stick of dynamite on his right leg, the phrase "family first" on his right arm and the phrase "lost cause" on his hands. If you have information in this case, you are asked to contact Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477), on the P3 app, or on its website. You can remain anonymous, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
