A Lehigh Acres man is accused of violating the terms of his release after an arrest for breaking into several cars and stealing items, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers says that Eric Sapp, 20, was initially arrested after witnesses spotted a vehicle slowly rolling through an apartment complex. It was later discovered that five vehicles had been broken into, with Sapp reportedly stealing two guns, a designer purse, a few thousand dollars in cash, credit cards and passports. Detectives traced one of the stolen cards to Sapp when he used it at a gas station, according to Crime Stoppers. Sapp was arrested on charges of grand theft, illegal use of credit cards, criminal mischief, grand theft of a firearm and more. Sapp was placed on probation, which he is accused of violating. Crime Stoppers says Sapp is prone to hang out in the Lehigh Acres and Central Fort Myers areas.
