A Lehigh Acres man was arrested on Sunday after being accused of driving at speeds of over 100 mph on SR-82. According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office arrest report, a deputy was stationed in the area of SR-82 in Lehigh Acres at around 1:49 p.m. The deputy noticed a Toyota Camry driving eastbound at what appeared to be a high speed. The deputy used their radar and was able to confirm that the Camry was traveling at 101 mph in a 55 mph zone, the report said. The Camry was stopped, and the deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Angel Acuna, 18, the report said. Acuna was arrested and faces a charge of super speeding.
