Lehigh Acres shooting on Lake Ave. leaves 1 person injured

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. (WINK) — A shooting on Lake Ave. in Lehigh Acres left one person injured early Tuesday morning, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities said the shooting happened after a verbal altercation between the two parties escalated. One person sustained a non-life-threatening injury and is receiving treatment at a hospital.

LCSO said this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
