The old air traffic control tower on the north side of Southwest Florida International Airport is coming down, according to the Lee County Port Authority. According to construction plans, the project consists of the demolition of the existing Legacy Airport Traffic Control Tower and Base Building facility at RSW. Certain items in the demolition will be salvaged for the Port Authority to relocate.
