'Scary and terrifying': Video shows bus dragging basketball hoop down Cape Coral street

A Cape Coral neighborhood was left stunned after a bus was seen dragging a basketball hoop down the street, with residents describing the scene as surreal and frightening. "Sounds like it came out of the scene of a movie like; it's unbelievable. That's what it is," said Lesandro De La Rosa, a neighbor. The incident was captured on video, showing the bus dragging the hoop for at least half a block. "To see a bus come all the way, dragging the basketball hoop from who knows where. It seems kind of crazy," said Ashley Marie De La Rosa, another neighbor. Ashley Marie and her family walk around the neighborhood daily, and she said she saw the mangled hoop on the side of the road yesterday. "I mean, that's just scary and terrifying, considering that we walk to her school every day. She's right at Cape Elementary, and we walk every day. And, I mean, we walk this way, you know, because we have the doctor right here, too," she said. The Cape Coral Police Department said they have no incident reported regarding the situation.
