A Bonita Springs man was arrested on Wednesday after he was accused of DUI in a school zone in Naples. According to the Naples Police Department, Matthew Stiles, 39, was pulled over for reportedly going 45 mph through a 20 mph school zone in a silver Lexus on Goodlette-Frank Road North at 8:43 a.m. Officers said when Stiles was stopped, he reportedly reached behind the front right passenger seat. In addition, during the stop, he was accused of showing signs of impairment. The police said they found a case of White Claw alcoholic beverages in the vehicle as well as a reportedly open and cold one in the seat-back pocket of the front right passenger seat. Stiles is accused of refusing to perform field sobriety exercises and to provide a breath sample. He was arrested and is facing charges of driving under the influence (DUI) and refusal to submit to DUI testing.
