Deadly crash shuts down lanes in North Fort Myers

NORTH FORT MYERS (WINK) —A deadly crash has shut down lanes in North Fort Myers.

Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened at Evergreen Road, where lanes are currently closed. Authorities say the crash involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Video from the scene shows a red sedan with a shattered windshield and significant front-end damage. An ambulance with two stretchers was also visible at the scene.
