LEE COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — Labor Day travel is in full swing at Southwest Florida International Airport.
While the most popular Labor Day travel days nationally are Friday and Monday, crowds are beginning to form at RSW. WINK News spoke to some travelers who say they make the journey to visit their loved ones or spend time at their vacation homes.
Flights at RSW come in from 11 different airlines. It is recommended to arrive at least two hours early, give yourself plenty of time to park and monitor your flight for delays or changes.
The airport terminal is looking empty, but the parking lot appeared pretty full earlier, so many people may have already started their travels.
