The 2026 Hunting, Fishing, and Camping Sales Tax Holiday is underway, letting Florida consumers purchase all kinds of outdoor gear without having to pay a sales tax. The holiday, which began on Sept. 1 and extends through Dec. 31, allows consumers to purchase hunting, fishing, and camping supplies at specific price points, including: Bows Crossbows Ammunition Firearms Accessories for bows, crossbows and firearms Tents ($200 or less) Fishing rods and reels if sold individually ($75 or less) Camping stoves, chairs, sleeping bags, hammocks ($50 or less) For more information on what items are exempt from sales tax, you can visit the Florida Department of Revenue's website here.
