A man was arrested on Wednesday after being accused of shooting someone with a shotgun at a Charlotte County campground. According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office probable cause affidavit, on September 2, the victim went to his friend's campground on Riverton Circle to help clean. While at the campground, a man, later identified as William Kralick, 65, pulled up near the victim in a silver sport utility vehicle and began to shoot at the victim with a shotgun. The victim was shot in the right shoulder and sustained injuries to his face, CCSO said. The victim left the scene and drove himself to the hospital. Deputies spoke with the victim at the hospital. The victim told deputies he was shot twice while standing outside of his vehicle. Deputies later found bullet holes in the victim's vehicle. Two additional witnesses who were at the campground at the time corroborated the victim's story and positively identified Kralick as the shooter. Kralick was arrested and faces a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
