Boil water notice issued for Port Charlotte neighborhood after main break

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (WINK) — A precautionary boil water notice is in effect for residents at the intersection of Abalom Street and Fullerton Avenue in Port Charlotte following a water main break on Friday.

The Utilities Department responded to the break and repaired the water main on Friday morning.

Normal water pressure has resumed for impacted customers.

The boil water notice will remain in place until further notice from the Utilities Department.
