Lehigh Acres man accused of going 136 mph on I-75 in Lee County

A Lehigh Acres man was arrested on Thursday after he was accused of going 136 mph on I-75 in Lee County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Carlos Luis Roa Perozo, 20, was stopped at 12:08 a.m. on I-75 heading northbound at mile marker 120. He was reportedly driving a 2023 Yamaha R7, troopers said. He is facing a charge of dangerous excessive speeding - operating a motor vehicle 50 mph or more over the posted speed limit.
