A man in Lee County is accused of stealing approximately $2,200 worth of makeup from Sephora and fragrances from Ulta Beauty. According to an arrest warrant, back in November of 2025 deputies with the Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a Sephora in Estero in reference to a reported retail theft. Deputies reviewed surveillance footage that reportedly shows a man wearing glasses, a black turtleneck shirt, gray jeans and a black hat entering the store. The man is shown concealing merchandise in his bag and pocket. Among the stolen items were: Four Armani foundations valued at $276 One Yves Saint Laurent gift set, valued at $64 Nine Yves Saint Laurent lippies, valued at $405 10 Prada lipsticks, valued at $500 Eight Yves Saint Laurent blushes, valued at $368 Four Rhode blushes, valued at $100 12 Yves Saint Laurent lipsticks, valued at $576 In total, the value of the items stolen was $2,289. In December of 2025, deputies discovered that the suspect, Williams Meireles, had previously stolen items from an Ulta on Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers, according to LCSO. In January of 2026 deputies went to the Ulta. The store manager told them that she had seen Meireles in the store before, and while there he had stolen fragrances. On Thursday, Meireles was brought into Lee County from Pinellas County due to outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was booked into the Lee County Jail. Meireles faces a charge of grand theft over $750.
