3-year-old boy dies after drowning incident in Olga

OLGA, Fla. (WINK)—A 3-year-old boy died this morning after a drowning incident Friday in Olga.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a drowning call around 4 p.m. Friday in the 15000 block of Sunny Crest Lane. The child was transported to the hospital following the incident.

The boy succumbed to his injuries Monday morning at the hospital.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating the drowning.
