During the traffic stop, troopers detected a strong odor of marijuana and observed other indicators of marijuana inside the Cadillac. This led to the discovery of multiple baggies and metal cylinders containing different colored powder substances, according to the press release.
The substances were later identified as cocaine and fentanyl, FHP says. Llerena was arrested and transported to the Collier County Jail.
Llerena was booked on five charges: trafficking in fentanyl, possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The press release did not specify the quantities of drugs found.
