Human remains identified following Lee County homicide investigation; 2nd person arrested

LEE COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — The Lee County Sheriff's Office said a second person has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the death of a Fort Myers Man.

Gabirl Leon-Torres and Justin Kight are being charged in the death of Steven Roth.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office found Roth's remains near the Lee County Elections Center facility in March.

Leon-Torres was arrested in August and charged with murder in connection with the death of Roth. 

LCSO said the medical examiner's report found trauma, including injuries consistent with stab wounds throughout his body.

Leon-Torres and Kight are in custody at Lee County Jail.
