Fort Myers, Fla. (WINK) — Looking for a spot that’s as colorful as it is delicious? Chica Rosa Creperie & Cafe is bringing a little pink flair to Gulf Coast Town Center with a story rooted in family, food and Hispanic culture.
The family-owned cafe was created by Yolanda Casanova, who grew up with her Cuban parents making crepes with her family and dreamed of opening her own creperie. That dream became a reality in 2022 when she opened up Chica Rosa.
Today, the Fort Myers cafe serves both sweet and savory crepes, along with coffee, juices, champagne and other dishes. The menu is made with fresh, made-from-scratch crepe batter, giving guests plenty of options whether they’re stopping in for brunch, a sweet treat or a drink.
The Cafe is also preparing to unveil its brand new fall menu with two new crepes and three fall inspired coffees.
One of their unique items is its Cuban flat bread that has mozzarella cheese, ham, and roasted pork topped with a mustard drizzle.

And the experience goes beyond the food. The bright pink cafe has become a popular spot for celebrations, brunches and catching up with friends, with a menu and atmosphere designed to make a meal feel like an experience.
Casanova said people come to the cafe for all kinds of occasions: " I wanted to create a space for the girls but it's so fun to see everyone enjoy it. We see a lot of daddy-daughter dates, bible studies, first dates and hangouts," she said.
The cafe also has a tea experience from 3-5:30 pm.
Chica Rosa is also a local example of how family traditions and culture can make their way into the businesses and communities around Southwest Florida.
National Hispanic Heritage Month begins September 15 and runs through October 15, celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities across the country.
