Cape Coral traffic cameras issued more than 37,000 violation notices between August 2025 and June 1, 2026, according to a city report. Nearly 29,000 citations were paid, generating $2,894,550 in total program receipts. The report also shows that 3,563 violations were dismissed. Cape Coral Elementary School had the most notices, with 8,649 violations recorded from four cameras. Cape Coral Christian School on southbound Santa Barbara Boulevard also saw a high number of notices, with 5,241 violations. Cape Coral’s Transportation Advisory Committee is set to meet at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, when city leaders will take a closer look at the presentation.
