Collier County company Arthrex makes final 4 in 'Coolest Thing Made in Florida' competition

A product designed by Collier County company Arthrex has made the final four in the second annual "Coolest Thing Made in Florida" competition. The product, called the TightRope PRO, is designed to be a next-generation solution for the treatment of syndesmotic injuries, Arthrex said. The implant allows for a smaller drill tunnel, paving the way for a minimally invasive technique. To learn more about the TightRope PRO, click here. The competition, sponsored by the Florida Chamber of Commerce, began with more than 100 Florida-made products before being narrowed down to the final four. The other three products in the final four are Northrop Grumman's E-2D Advanced Hawkeye from St. Johns County, Koozie Group's GarylineA Cubbie RPET Bottle with Straw Lid from Pinellas County, and Sandvik Mining's Electric Rotary Blasthole Drills.
