Naples woman sentenced to 15 years in prison after no contest plea to fentanyl trafficking charges

A Naples woman was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Wednesday after she was adjudicated guilty of fentanyl trafficking charges. According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, Yusbelkin Clemente-Vega, 40, pled no contest to charges of trafficking in fentanyl 14 grams or more and sale and delivery of a controlled substance. Clemente-Vega must serve a minimum of seven years in prison. CCSO says that in 2024, its Vice and Narcotics division arrested Clemente-Vega along with another suspect after they served a search warrant at a suspected drug house on 44th Terrace Southwest. During the search, CCSO says detectives found 318 fentanyl pills, marked "M 30" to resemble legitimate oxycodone hydrochloride tablets. In total, the fentanyl weighed 34.1 grams, enough to kill 17,050 people. Detectives also recovered methamphetamine and $13,380 in cash from the residence.
