Overnight I-75 closures near Toledo Blade Blvd. in North Port start Sept. 21

NORTH PORT, Fla. (WINK) — Overnight ramp closures are scheduled at the Interstate 75 and Toledo Blade Boulevard interchange starting Sept. 21.

The northbound I-75 on-ramp and northbound I-75 off-ramp at exit 179 will close from Sept. 21 through Sept. 25 during nighttime hours from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., according to a press release. Crews will be completing a paving operation.

Crews will only work on one ramp at a time. Motorists should use extra caution and follow posted detour routes or find alternative routes.

Law enforcement will be onsite to assist motorists during the closures. The activities are subject to change based on weather conditions and unforeseen conditions.
