Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is raising the curtain at Cultural Park Theatre

It's opening night for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Cultural Park Theatre in Cape Coral. Director Shaelyn Crabtree, Tyler Connelly, who plays Willy Wonka, Shaun Miller, who plays Grandpa Joe, and Gavin Wylie, who plays Charlie Bucket, joined Gulf Coast News to give us a preview of the show. Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory, offering five golden ticket winners a chance to experience his world of pure imagination. Young Charlie Bucket and four other winners will embark on a journey through the factory, which includes chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels, and the great glass elevator. The magical experience will be guided by Wonka’s army of curious Oompa-Loompas. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will be on stage until September 27.
