Emergency crews rescue trapped driver from overturned car in Charlotte County

Charlotte County emergency crews rescued a person trapped inside a car after a crash on Wednesday. According to Charlotte County Public Safety, crews responded to Bermont Road at around 4:16 p.m. after reports of a single-vehicle crash, with the vehicle's occupant unable to exit the car. When crews arrived, they found the car on its side in the woods, resting against a tree. Crews used specialized rescue tools to safely remove the occupant from the car. The individual was then transported for further medical treatment.
