Man accused of sexual battery, human trafficking involving minor in Collier County

A Bonita Springs man was arrested by deputies with the Collier County Sheriff's Office after he was accused of sexual battery of a child under 18. According to court records, deputies made contact with a 13-year-old victim in 2025 after she told her school's therapist that she had been performing sexual acts for a vape pen. The victim and her friend began messaging a man on Snapchat in 2024, and eventually they met with him at a gas station. There, the victim said that the man raped her. Subpoenas to Snapchat identified the suspect as Ismael Castaneda-Loarca, 22, according to court records. Castaneda-Loarca was positively identified in a lineup by the victim, deputies say. He was arrested on Monday and faces charges of sexual battery of a person younger than 18 and human trafficking of a child under 18.
