A Lehigh Acres family was surprised when a pig unexpectedly showed up at their front door. Mandy Cabral, who recently moved to Lehigh Acres from Vermont, said she never imagined seeing a pig at her doorstep. "I was shocked. Never expected to have a pig on my front doorstep," Cabral said. Cabral shared the sighting on Facebook and contacted the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. "I let my husband do all the petting and things like that. He was very friendly," she said. The pig’s owner later reached out to Cabral and thanked her for finding their pet pig, named TT. This isn’t the only unusual animal sighting in the area recently. Just days ago, the Cape Coral Fire Department discovered an African spurred tortoise at the baseball field at the Cape Coral Sports Complex. The tortoise, named Flippee, had been missing for two months and was reunited with its family. Cabral said her family was happy to keep TT safe while waiting for authorities to arrive. "He was just comfortable. He was like this was his home. He was very relaxed," Cabral said. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that TT the pig is now back with its owners.
