A woman was arrested Thursday morning after she was accused of threatening a neighbor's landscaper with a BB gun at a neighbor's landscaper in Cape Coral. According to the Cape Coral Police Department's arrest report, Donna Lucille Cioffi Colon, 61, was arrested after officers responded to a reported disturbance with a deadly weapon at 7:49 a.m. The victim told the police that he was cutting grass on Southeast 38th Street near a light pole that borders two residences before he accused Colon of pointing what he said appeared to be a black Desert Eagle at him and yelling at him to get off her property, even though he said he wasn't on her property, according to the report. After that, the victim reported that he was scared for his life and went back to his car. He also told police that two to three weeks before, Colon complained to the victim about the same thing. Officers set up a perimeter around Colon's home after they tried to contact her. She eventually came out and was detained. The report states that Colon told officers she had a BB gun and the police confirmed that it was. Colon also reported that she had multiple issues with the landscaper on her property before. Colon is facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
